Working with Matt on our project was one of the most pleasant experiences we’ve ever had with a contractor.

He helped us decide on all the aspects of our deck, and took care of everything for us. His team is very professional and easy to work with.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice. We now have a deck that’s built exactly the way we wanted thanks to Hankins Decks!

Matt was awesome to work with. We had him screen in our deck recently. Super quick on quotes and communication. Very thorough and detailed. Keeps you in the loop. He got to our project ahead of schedule. Price was very fair and we feel like we got everything we wanted.

We’ve spent everyday the weather will allow, sitting out on our screened in deck. We would absolutely recommend Hankins Decks and will use them for any future projects.

The team at Hankins Decks did a fantastic job replacing our old deck. Although they were not the cheapest quote we received, the details Matt shared with us showed his vast knowledge of his craft. It was an easy choice for my wife and I to trust them to see our job through.

The outcome was even better than we both imagined, and their craftsmanship shows throughout the entire deck. We will be sure to recommend your team to every one.

Composite Deck In Overland Park, KS

When our client approached us, she knew she wanted a deck that’s safe and functional. We recommended her to go with composite because she wanted to cut down on maintenance time as much as possible.

For building this deck we used 25-year warranty composite boards from Deckorators. We completed the installation with premium aluminum railings, stairs, and stair lighting.

The project was quoted at $33,720, where the wrap around the stairs and the stair lights alone came in at $12,700.

Pressure-treated Wood Deck In Overland Park, KS

Our client in Overland Park wanted a wood deck that would look good but also fit his budget. Pressure treated lumber is one of the most budget-friendly material for building a sturdy deck, and it’s also very resistant to moisture and rot.

We completed the project with a concrete stair landing.

Fence Installation Case Studies In Kansas City

Premium Aluminum Fence

Our client knew he wanted a fence that won’t rot, rust, or warp. Aluminum is the go-to material for this type of fence, and that’s what we recommended to our client. The project also included two 4′ gates and a self-closing gate with a latch.

The family loved the result as the fence had a very high-end look that enhanced the entire property.

This 180 linear ft of aluminum fence was quoted at $14,790.

Budget-Friendly "Dog-Eared" Privacy Fence

This client wanted a sturdy fence that would shield her from prying eyes and fit a specific budget. We used pressure-treated lumber, which is a budget-friendly material that’s also resistant to rot and insects.

The fence was 6′ high, perfect for creating the privacy this family needed. With a 42″ gate, every aspect of this fence matched our client’s vision and their budget.

The project was quoted at $5,225.

High-end Cedar Privacy Fence

From the beginning of the project, our client told us he wanted his backyard to be a little more private. We knew a taller wood privacy fence would give them the peace of mind they wanted.

We used premium cedar wood for the fence, with reinforced gates. We finished the look with top and side trim around each section of the fence pickets.

Compared to a traditional dog-eared picket fence, the finished “boxed-in” look of this fence was an additional $1,480. The entire project was quoted at $8,875.
